Unlike a conventional home theater receiver, this unit lacks internal amplification. This absence reduces heat and noise produced during amplification, thereby enhancing the quality of your audio and visual experience.

The Marantz AMP 10 is the specially designed amplifier to pair with the AV 10. However, you can connect this pre/pro to any external power amplifiers using either balanced (XLR) or unbalanced (RCA) cables. For optimal performance, especially if your amplifier supports it, I recommend using XLR connections to minimize noise and ensure a clean, robust signal.
