The Foundation subwoofer is equipped with a pair of ultra long throw 12" subwoofers. These drivers boast the highest Xmax available in their efficiency class, along with a 3" dual 4-layer voice coil and a 480oz (30lb) motor structure. The powerful motor structure and dual voice coils ensure effective damping of the woofer's heavy cone, while the woven voice-coil leads are designed to prevent slapping the cone during large excursions. The internal ICEpower® amplifier is perfectly matched to the series/parallel load of the 4 voice coils, providing optimal current capability.

To fine-tune the Foundation subwoofer to your specific preferences and room acoustics, it offers variable level control, continuous phase adjustment, and a wide range of crossover frequencies. Additionally, the unique blend control allows for precise integration and seamless transition with your main speakers.
