Description

Bowers & Wilkins 707 S3

The 707 S3 shines when paired with the FS-700 S3 stand but also performs excellently as a bookshelf speaker. Its compact and space-efficient design makes it perfect for smaller rooms, and despite its size, this speaker delivers remarkable performance. Equipped with a Carbon Dome tweeter, Continuum cone mid-bass driver, and a curved baffle, the 707 S3 proves that great things often come in small packages.

Key Features

Carbon Dome Tweeter

The custom-designed Carbon Dome tweeter extends sound reproduction far beyond the range of human hearing, resulting in an effortless, natural quality. Experience every delicate detail, like the soft brush of a cymbal, as if it's right in the room with you.

Continuum Cone Midrange/Bass Driver

This midrange driver, derived from the high-end 800 Series, surpasses the performance of traditional Kevlar drivers. With exceptional clarity and detail, it creates the sensation that the vocalist is performing directly in front of you.

New Curved Cabinet Design

Bowers & Wilkins has long prioritized cabinet improvements to reduce resonance. The 700 S3 series features elegantly curved cabinets inspired by the 800 models, delivering both a sophisticated aesthetic and enhanced anti-resonance properties.

Compact and Versatile Performance

The 707 S3's smaller cabinet size, featuring a 5” midrange/woofer unit, makes it ideal for tight spaces. It’s roughly 2 inches shorter and 1 inch shallower than the 706 S3, but it still incorporates all the cutting-edge technology found in the 700 S3 range.

Perfect for use as surround speakers or on a small bookshelf, these speakers excel in delivering precise imaging. However, their sensitivity rating of 84 dB means they require a bit more power to perform optimally.

Recommendation

For main speakers, consider the 706 S3 if your budget allows for the slight price difference. The 706 S3 offers extended bass, easier drivability, and improved dynamics, making it a fantastic upgrade for those looking for even better performance.

Epic Systems proudly presents the Bowers & Wilkins 707 S3, combining exceptional engineering with sleek design for unmatched sound quality.
