McIntosh XR50

The McIntosh XR50 is a cleverly engineered compact bookshelf speaker that delivers rich, full-range sound typically associated with much larger speakers. Available in fine gloss wood finishes of Black and Red Walnut, the XR50 features a magnetically attached, acoustically transparent grille covered in neutral black cloth. A unique front panel McIntosh logo can be illuminated when paired with compatible McIntosh components. The speaker is equipped with McIntosh’s patented Solid Cinch speaker binding posts, ensuring secure cable connections and preventing the risk of shorts. These gold-plated binding posts also resist corrosion, ensuring a clean, high-quality signal transmission to the speaker.

The XR50 is suitable for amplifiers ranging from 75 to 300 watts, and includes an additional connection for Meter Illumination Control when used with compatible McIntosh amplifiers.
